The vast mountains and pristine slopes, not to mention exceptional weather conditions, make Canada a particularly desirable destination for skiers. The resorts of Jasper and Whistler are among the most popular ski resorts, offering exquisite views and a laid back ambience like no other. Aside from skiing, the outstanding natural beauty of Canada acts as an inviting backdrop for a broad range of different sports including hockey, lacrosse and skiing to name but a few. Independent School Travel have been successfully designing and hosting bespoke trips to Canada for independent schools for upwards of 20 years. One of the biggest draws for visitors is the many mountainous regions of the USA, of which New Hampshire and Killington are firm favourites with snow sports enthusiasts. North American ski resorts boast a bountiful snowfall throughout the winter making for immaculate slopes, and heavily tree-lined trails provide the added benefit of improved visibility.
